Listen I get if you’re a cop giving grandma a ticket for 6 over or 1 week expired tags then that’s trash. However, when people are going almost 40mph in a 25mph residential road that’s narrow that’s when ticket books come out for me. Registration expired by almost 5 months or so, ticket (minus some legit reason you may have like a tragedy, hardship etc). Blowing stop signs/traffic lights etc you get the idea
Yeah I like getting warrants and drugs too but if it’s drying up then be productive in other ways too. If you work in a low call volume city or town do some traffic enforcement. The citizens will actually appreciate it as may usually have problem areas they want enforced. You don’t have to write everyone but when people are being stopped it may make people think twice.
I just think some cops forget we also enforce other laws and regulations besides drugs and want to shit on cop who still want to be productive just in a different way
