A few years ago I found a game that looks simple at first, then suddenly you realize people have been building their accounts for years, it’s called Torn City.

No fancy graphics. No fake “power level” nonsense. Just a massive online crime RPG where you build your stats, make money, join factions, trade, fight, invest and slowly become someone dangerous.

The cool part is that your account keeps growing even if you only log in a few times a day. It feels like a long-term life simulator, but darker, smarter, and way more competitive.
