Things I never understood

Growing up and even now as an adult, I never understood why when someone is disfellowshipped, people who are baptized can’t socialize with them. It doesn’t matter if it’s your family member you cannot speak to them and that is the part that drove me away as a teenager. People in my family acting holier than thou are acting like they can’t say hi to their cousin, aunt, or even their sister or brother. In my opinion being treated that way wouldn’t make me feel comfortable enough to return to any meetings or conventions.

Also I feel like men are viewed superior and women are looked as less than.
