Got bit by a deer tick yesterday morning-I noticed it very quickly and it couldn’t have been on me for more than half an hour. Husband suggested going to urgent care and getting antibiotics just in case (we live in VT, very high endemic area) so I did. Doc said because it was on me for such little time, I did not need antibiotics. I’m still pretty freaked out though because it looks kind of gnarly. Does this look like a typical tick bite?
