I have a question and not sure what resources to try. I had a concrete pad poured behind my house, which in the future will have a garage built on it. The pad was poured in late June last year. I gave it plenty of time to cure before driving on it,and it was sealed before the winter. I did put a little salt during one of the major snow falls, but I started to notice the surface is scaling.

I talked to the contractor that poured it and they told me that it's due to salt, more the likely the salt used by the city to clear the roads. I checked, and in 2019 they stopped using calcium chloride.

Has anyone seen this? Or any ideas as to why it happened?
