I (M 32) have been in a lengthy relationship with my partner (F 52). When we started seeing eachother I was in my twenties and she was in her forties. For the most part people have been pretty quiet about our relationship, in regards to our age gap.
I'm just curious as to what people I don't know and have no connection think of the arrangement. There's been situations that have made her uncomfortable (eg. going to the hardware store and workers assuming I was her son, or someone at the bar making a condescending comment).
We've been recently having personal issues, like me struggling to navigate menopause, or wanting to be out with friends when shes been chronically fatigued and wanting to just stay home. I guess I'm not sure my exact question, just looking for strangers generalized input on the situation.
