Need help on achieving more dimension in makeup

Hello guys,

I finally feel comfortable with makeup and my base looks pretty good not too ashy or bright. I like how it turns out without separating or creasing but I do feel like my face feels too flat after foundation. I tried using contour but i dont know if I am doing it right.

Please share any techniques or product placement you have to make makeup look more three dimensional. Thanks in advance.
