General question here to more experienced archers. This is my first bow, a 19 inch Oak Ridge Shade v2 I bought for £124. Been shooting twice a week for just over a month with 24ib limbs. Yesterday this happened. I spoke the shop I got it from and they said they would contact the manufacturer for a warranty replacement.

I really want to shoot wood one piece bows so thought a wood riser was a nice start to move up on draw weights with. Are wood risers considered safe? Or do they crack/not last a lot compared with metal? Appreciate loads of people shoot longbows etc but they tend to be £400+ from what I've seen. Are budget wood bows not a good idea?

EDIT: Thanks all for the comments. Still waiting to hear back about approval for it being replaced 🤞
