Hi all 👋
I recently ordered some stone aggregate, item 4 for compacted base and 1/4” chip stone for leveling bed. The thing is I ordered MORE than needed of the chip stone. I want to add a French drain 16” below paver level around the paver pad, and thinking now to use the chip stone as the drainage rock? I read online to use a 1-2” clean stone but with the 3 extra tons I have left over, maybe I could wrap the French drain in landscape fabric, and surround the space with the chip stone? Wrapping the pipe in fabric will prevent the stones from going into the holes in the pipe. Anyone have experience with this? Thanks in advance!
