Maybe I’m the last person to have this idea 😀. The GO trains are so packed now to get downtown to work. It’s awful. By Newmarket people are standing and Rutherford is the worst with a bazillion people getting on the train. I just can’t take it. Too hot, too smelly, not enough air, people falling in your lap. Last week I decided to try getting off the train at Downsview and took the subway down from there. It’s half empty and I’m at Union just after the GO train so it doesn’t take that much more time. It’s great.
