I am enjoying the series so far. Towards the end of book 3 right now. Question though. Did I miss the explanation on how he can now throw an evolutionary rune on pretty much everything? How are they getting them to evolve? I remember in the first book them specifically explaing that they need essence from somewhere to evolve. Any help is great thanks :)
