Things I learned as a solo MY carport camper….
New to the camping world so I definitely wanted to do a dry run before a full send in nature. Below are a few things I was surprised about. Feel free to add to it!
- Camp mode was too quiet for me😅. I’m used to dogs snoring and a noise machine so it was hard to fall asleep.
- The stylus for the screen was needed for me! I have long arms, but reaching for the screen got old after a while.
- Amazon window shades didn’t block as much light as I thought. Also didn’t like the fact that if I even looked at the door wrong that they popped out. Considering the Havnby full window ones.
- Camp mode seat profile was needed. I didn’t realize that I couldn’t move the driver seat up from the screen. Maybe I’m missing something though? Either way, I created a seat profile to move the seat up.
- Official Tesla mattress was very comfortable! My only complaint was it didn’t seem tall enough( 5’7/67inch/170cm female). Not sure if it’s just because the seats weren’t all the way up or if I just need a taller mattress. I found myself laying horizontal so that I wasn’t touching the trunk door.
- Seat slope wasn’t an issue for me (I have a bed that I elevate the head though).
