Hey everyone, posting again because I’m still in the search and could really use some help.

I’m based in Manhattan and I’ve been going on interviews consistently, I’ve made it to final rounds, I’ve gotten great feedback, but nothing has converted to an offer yet. It’s been humbling to say the least.

My background: I have 4+ years of operations and team management experience, led teams of up to 20 people, bilingual in English and Spanish, Food Protection Manager certified, and I have experience across retail operations, food service, and administrative environments.

I’m open to pretty much anything right now, retail, food service, admin, operations, entry level, doesn’t matter. I just need to get my foot in the door somewhere and I will prove myself from there.

If anyone works somewhere that’s hiring and would be willing to refer me, or knows of any recent openings in Manhattan or nearby boroughs, I would be incredibly grateful. A referral goes such a long way and I don’t take that lightly.

DM me anytime. Thank you in advance to anyone who takes the time to help, the NYC Reddit community has already been incredibly kind to me and I appreciate every single one of you.

[22M] NYC job hunt is humbling me. Anyone know of openings or willing to refer? (Retail/Guest Experience Manager, 4 yrs exp)

I’ve been applying through LinkedIn, indeed, to as many jobs as I can find with no luck. so here I am on Reddit like a normal person lol.

Throwing my shot out there: I have 4 years of management experience in operations and customer experience. Team leadership, customer escalations, scheduling, hitting metrics, the whole thing. On the tech side, I’m comfortable across the board, POS systems, scheduling software, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and I pick up new platforms quickly. I’m not just a people manager; I can handle the behind the scenes operational and computer-based side of things too.

Based in NYC, open to most industries. If your company is hiring for anything management/ops/customer-facing and you’d be willing to refer or even just point me somewhere, I’d genuinely appreciate it.

DMs open. Resume available. Not above begging, clearly
