Hi all!

This cycle has been really long and erratic, FF advanced mode seems to think I ovulatwd cd35 and FAM mode thinks cd 42.

I’m inclined to think neither is is right and that I haven’t actually ovulated yet. Difficult to track cm atm as I just had thrush (tmi- lucky me) and used a pessary to treat. I did have the smallest amount of spotting this am but that could be down to thrush.

Any insight welcomed!!

Hi all! My local fertility consultant has just advised me that she believes the most likely and safest way for me to get pregnant is IVF (very irregular cycles and additional health risks). She said she’s going to sort the onward referral to Liverpool Women’s Hospital.

I’ve only had info via email from the consultant and she didn’t elaborate on the process.

I’m a bit confused around timescales for all of this. I’m based in Wales and the consultant said she think I’ll have an initial appointment within 6 weeks, but I read online that first appointments are up to 26 weeks away? Where does the funding application sit in all of this, my local consultant or do Liverpool then do that and will I have to wait longer for it to get approved?

Interested to hear others’ experiences for Liverpool and how long it took from first initial appointment to actually starting ivf.

Thank you!
