FORMD T1 Watercooled SFF Setup

Repeatedly tearing the build apart and rebuilding it until my hands went numb — I finally landed on what feels like a very balanced setup.
The photos were also retouched a bit with ChatGPT for lighting and atmosphere.
Thermals have been surprisingly good so far,with fan noise being almost inaudible.
A few TIPS:

🔌 1. Use proper custom-length PSU cables
Definitely use professionally customized cables designed specifically for both the case and PSU. The cable lengths need to be exactly right to fully utilize every bit of space inside the case.
Mine are black silver-plated Type VI cables, which save a huge amount of space.

📺 2. Highly recommend the inverted GPU mounting kit
There are several advantages:
The inverted layout worked really well for airflow in my setup.
Since the build uses liquid cooling, the GPU no longer pulls in hot air from the CPU area;
The GPU fans sit farther away from the side panel during exhaust, eliminating turbulence/wind noise completely;
And honestly… it just looks insanely cool. The heatsink paired with the X-shaped RGB lighting gives it a super premium aesthetic.

🥶 3. AIO compatibility is extremely important
Clearance is extremely tight with certain AIOs.
Also, make sure to install fan grills on the radiator fans — otherwise the dense cable routing inside the case will end up hitting the fan blades.
I also tried mounting a Phanteks T30 performance fan on the PSU side, but the GPU power cable ended up blocking it… so I gave up on that idea.

🐲 4. Route the AIO tubes around the RAM if possible
If your RAM modules are tall enough, routing the tubes around the right side and wrapping them around the memory area makes the tubing visually much cleaner and less noticeable.

🧵 5. Cable management is genuinely difficult
You’ll need a lot of unconventional tricks and creative mounting methods to secure everything properly — zip ties are your best friend here.
It’s also worth buying some third-party DLC-style accessories for the case, like the ZCOOI CPU cable management bracket.

🪵 6. The wooden base mod is surprisingly worth it
The base itself was purchased from the official store, and I simply applied a walnut-pattern vinyl wrap over it.
The wrap only cost a few dollars, but unless you look closely at the seams, the overall texture and finish feel surprisingly realistic and premium.
