So I have been diagnosed by my current derm with TE but he isn’t rly helping in terms of what to do next/dismissing me for my concerns. Would a naturopath be someone I should go to next or get another dermatologist? I’ve heard good things about naturopaths but also terrible things. So I am kind of at a loss.
Hi everyone my hair started shedding about 7 months ago and still going. End of November into January it decreased a lot and by February it started to pick up again and hasn’t slowed down. I’ve been to the derm and doctor both twice and all bloodwork came out optimal for hair growth except ferritin was at a 67. Currently taking a small dose to up it into a more optimal range. I’m very lost on what to do next. Honestly any advice would be greatly appreciated because I’ve tried hair oils, nizoral, vitamins and it still seems ongoing. Derm confirmed it wasn’t AGA and didn’t feel the need to do a scalp biopsy. I’m worried it may be because of my diet, but because of being a college student it’s hard to get a full three meals a day of nutrients. Any suggestions?
