Yes, ANOTHER app. Built a niche rental platform focused on replacement tenants & shared housing.
Over the last few months I’ve been building a platform focused on one specific problem in Dublin renting that I got tired of dealing with myself:
replacement tenants, shared houses, sublets, and short-term room rentals.
Not another massive property marketplace.
Just trying to fix the chaos around:
- posting in multiple WhatsApp/Facebook/Reddit groups
- getting flooded with repetitive messages
- people asking for information already written in the post
- fake or misleading room photos
- outdated listings that are already gone
- endlessly scrolling through group chats trying to find available rooms
So I built MyNextRoom.
And no, this wasn’t just vibecoded in a weekend. I properly built the app myself for the last 4 months and I have already posted in some renting groups asking for their problems if you want to verify, although I did use AI where it actually made sense because honestly, why why not?
The app is currently in review for both the App Store and Play Store, and I’m opening up the waitlist while approvals are pending.
The platform is designed to help BOTH sides.
For people posting rooms:
• renter cards with basic tenant info before replying so you don't have to ask everyone about them again and again
• less spam and repetitive messages
• video walkthroughs instead of sending photos repeatedly
