Groups = Directories = Folders.
I am hoping that im missing something. In my siemens project that is synced with our company project server we place all our code into folders. This gives it a nice originized structure since we have many modules running in our project.
However, what I have noticed is a weird interaction. If i create a folder with no code inside of it and try to sync it to the project server, the project server staging does not see the empty folder as being new so it does not pull this into the project server.
If I do add some code in the folder then I can stage it into the project server no problem. However, if there was code inside a folder and that folder + code is deleted and I stage it, it does remove the code from the project server, but the empty folder remains.
Functionally this does not effect the PLC program, but my OCD is having a hard time accepting it hahah.
Is there a config/setting somewhere to avoid having empty folders on the project server? I can delete them manually but that seems not so much fun.
