I just started my Master’s degree in Information Technology at UoP, and almost everyone is using LLMs to complete assignments and discussion posts. This doesn’t benefit students in any way. It even seems like some instructors may be using LLMs to generate responses to students’ work. To properly assess whether students are completing the assigned readings and understanding the concepts, UoP should reduce these writing assignments and instead use quizzes and exams. What do you think?
