Need advice: Switching from Philips S3000, looking for the best shaver for sensitive neck
Hi everyone,
I shave my face, neck, and the back of my neck every other day or every three days, aiming for a clean, close shave. I’ve been using a Philips S3000 Aqua for years, but I’ve decided to switch because it irritates my neck and leaves hairs behind.
I have no budget limit, but the more I research, the more stuck I feel. I’d love to hear from anyone who has experience with the models I’m looking at:
- Braun Series 9 Pro+: I know it’s a top-tier machine, but I’ve heard that due to the foil design, it doesn't perform well on the neck area. Since my neck is very sensitive and prone to irritation, I want to be careful.
- Philips S9000: I’ve looked into rotary models like this one, but I’ve heard some mixed reviews and other issues.
- Philips OneBlade: I heard it’s great for avoiding irritation, but also that it doesn't provide a shave as close (BBS) as other machines.
As you can see, I’m very undecided. I’m looking for something that won't irritate my neck but will still give a close shave. Which one should I go for? Any advice is appreciated!
