I run a franchise with a few family members, and it's been going since Madden 23. Usually we get results and records somewhat similar to the real NFL, but this year it's been nearly impossible for anyone to lose to a CPU team.
We play on all-madden comp (used to do sim but it seems to make the game even easier), with sliders turned up to the near max, and multiple rules regarding abilities, plus we banned speed outs + drags as hot routes. On the defensive side of the ball we get pretty normal results (although the QB sneak playcall ends any drive the bot calls it on), but everyone's offense is unstoppable. The CPU physically can't cover mesh/drags, the run game is extremely powerful despite the run blocking slider being set to 0, and we can all basically score at will despite the sliders. I want to make the game difficult in a way that makes it feel possible to lose without getting screwed over, but I also don't want to be too intrusive (banning mesh entirely, banning hot routes, etc). Do y'all have any suggestions or ideas? I really want to believe that we can keep the league fresh until M27 releases, but it just feels impossible right now.
