regretting the choices that defined my life at 25

"i'm 37 and it's funny how some experiences can come full circle. recently, i've found myself thinking about the pivotal moments in my early 20s that set the trajectory for my late 30s. specifically, career choices, relationships, and long term commitments that i didn't fully think through.

looking back, i made decisions out of impatience, fomo, or because they felt 'safe' at the time. fast forward to today, and those 'choices' feel more like anchors than wings, weighing me down in unexpected ways.

i wonder if others have been there too? did you make similar choices that now feel regrettable, only to find yourself questioning what could've been? it's not about beating myself up over the past, but rather acknowledging the patterns and trying to course correct for the future. has anyone found a way to reframe their regrets or learn from their mistakes?

no pressure, no judgments just curious if i'm the only one struggling with 'what ifs'"

this response invites discussion and reflection on the topic, while framing it as an opportunity for growth and self awareness rather than dwelling on regret
