My wife and I are flying to Paris in 2 weeks and we are currently booked in Premium Select (after getting upgraded from main cabin - thanks, stupid credit card that got me status that I really should cancel).

I’ve never flown Delta One before, but would like to - especially since we are flying out of JFK and I’d like to see the Delta One club there.

They were selling D1 upgrades last week for $1900 a seat but no option to pay with miles. I checked again yesterday and it was suddenly $900 or 90,000 miles per seat.

Is that worth it for the flight to Paris? I basically just accumulate points and I guess I’d use them on a family trip in the future. But this doesn’t seem like a terrible option.

Appreciate any thoughts.
