Hey just wanted to provide an update on the 2022 4Runner TRD that had a strange noise while driving. Couple folks were kind and sought to give input, thank you very much for taking the time to reach out and let me know your opinion! Helped tremendously truly thank you for being a decent human.

Others however were very upset by it not being clean and up to -(pavement princess “yuppie” status) and actually downvoted me and took time out of their day to be negative. Likely for self assurance and personal reasons. Which is ok, whatever floats your boat. Anyway’s-

Diagnosis was rear brakes, had a loose pin and warped rotor. I repaired it this morning and she is back in her natural environment, albeit still dirty. I will probably clean it Sunday evening, vacuum and interior scrub as well as a nice hand wash on the exterior.

Happens when braking after high speed or on take off after braking for stop sign. Sporadic, almost sounds like the driver tire. Anyone had a sound like this before? Wonder what you guys think haven’t taken it out and had someone drive it in front of me yet. The sound only happens after interstate speed or spending a longtime at a stop sign.
