So I have been trying to lose weight for 2 years now and it has been the most difficult thing I have ever tried to do. I recently realized that I need to have a better sleep schedule but my family makes getting quality sleep, working out, and taking care of myself feel impossible. My husband says that after work he wants to spend at least 90 mins with me but after work is prime time to go workout and then after working out I want to decompress, take a shower, and go to bed. My daughter goes to bed at 7:30pm and I really want to start going to bed at 9:30pm so that only leave me 2 hour to workout and do my nighttime routine before bed. I also have to clean up the house and make sure our dog gets taken outside to pee several times since she is a puppy and we are currently potty training her. Am I being selfish for telling my husband that I can’t spend 90 mins with him after our daughter goes to sleep? He says that we are married and we should spend quality time together but we both work from home and see each other 24/7. Also if we want to spend quality time I think it would be best to plan dates for the weekend. Long story short: How do I navigate staying on track with my weight loss goals and making sure I am there for my family?
