Traveling Vietnam with a young child. People keep trying to hold/touch him.
Hello, so me, my wife and 2 yo son are currently traveling through Vietnam. On many occasions people have tried to hold him , and seem to not take no for an answer. Is this normal here?
He is very friendly but doesn’t really like men specifically, and there has been a handful of encounters where men will try to hold him or a hi-five but he is visually uncomfortable clinging onto one of us , and i will tell them “no he doesnt like that” and it still doesnt seem to get them to stop immediately. Just have started to pick him up and walk away which has also failed by them coming and pinching his arm. Or even squeezing his nipple at the beach? Like what adult thinks that is ok?
I could go into many more occurrences but this has been happening so frequently. Is this a culture occurrence that im not aware of?
