Picked these up yesterday. Can you help me identify a date range for these or confirm I’m on the right track?

From the research I’ve done (today) these might be from the 80’s but the inside tag is torn so I’m having a hard time nailing down the range.

Here’s what I gather….

-Redline selvedge
-Leg twist
-barely readable “501”
-Inside button stamped “555”
-Inside left pocket seam has yellowed torn tag (dang it!)
-Chain stitch inside back pocket

With what you can see here what would be your best guess? Did I just pay $30 for a $5 pair lol!

Regardless, I’m keeping to wear.
