I've got old '92 Dethleffs A642 motorhome recently and looking into adding more solar on the roof. There are already 3 solar panels (presumably 2x100W and 1x200W), satellite dish and roof-mounted AC.

What I'm a bit concerned about is roof load/weight. Dethleffs support says (same as on the website) that maximum roof load is 100kg. However it usually mentioned in context of "walking on the roof" - they say it's "conditionally walkable" and to avoid spot loads.

How much load can I realistically put on the roof of similar motorhome (forget the official "safe" statements)?

During Covid I had a '91 motorhome from Fendt, it had a rear ladder (which is for sure not an indicator, but still) and I was walking on the roof without any issues, there was some roof rack, satellite dish and one ~100W rigid solar panel. I'm about 80kg.

If I'm planning to add e.g. at least 400W of solar (rigid would be around 25 kg) plus montage racks (maybe 5kg?), probably bringing total roof stuff weight maybe to 120 kg - how "bad" would this be?
