Just wanted to hear some thoughts on what my options are. Got a brand new G82 . Within the first week of ownership while I was on my way to work the car went into limp mode and limited my speed to around 27 mph and I got a message : engine overheat, pull over in a safe place and call roadside assistance " there was a real bad burning smell in the car and I pulled over . Car has been with the dealer for a week now and initially they said the electrical system is not fully powering down and it triggered the drivetrain malfunction message . They raised a TSARA case to BMW . today I being told that they drove the car around and the issue didn't come up so the car is now ok?

do I take the car back or ask them to take it back(it has less than 100 miles on the clock ) and give me a new one ? is that possible or am I stuck with this ?
