I started this a few months ago, but didn’t realize at the time it would become my 3rd anniversary present to my wife. Based off of plans created by Paul Sellers and largely using his techniques, this is my first completed project using only hand tools, from rough sawn to joinery. I had originally wanted the lid to nestinto the top, but the hinge looked pretty clean in the end.

Sapele sides, cherry top, maple bottom, finished w/ light sanding and Howard’s Feed n’ Wax.
