Going to get onboarded tomorrow things I should take care if this time

Worked in a company for 1.3 years and the company refused to retain me saying my performance is poor, I have missed vulnerabilities and instead of termination they told me to better leave. Thankfully I had another job offer in hand and tomorrow would be my first day.

I'm feeling quite nervous because of the last company and seeing a very high chances of things repeating plus this company is bigger than my last company.

I’m currently working in my first company and have around 1.3 YoE

Over the past few months, I’ve been facing a few issues:

Work has been inconsistent — sometimes I go a full month without any active project, while at other times I end up working beyond office hours and even on weekends

I’ve made mistakes and received criticism from seniors (a couple of them are closely connected to my director)

I also feel somewhat left out socially within the team (I try to ignore it since it’s corporate, but it still affects me occasionally)

Because of this, I started exploring opportunities and recently got selected in another company offering ~50% hike (my current CTC is already below market standards).

However, I’m confused due to multiple factors:

My current company has an increment cycle in July, but I’m unsure how much I’ll get given my project exposure and performance

Some experienced/unbiased people I spoke to say my current company is actually better than many others in the industry (which makes me hesitant to leave)

The new company’s hiring process felt a bit unstructured (LOI first, offer letter after confirming DOJ, and overall interview experience wasn’t very smooth)

My notice period is 90 days, while the new company prefers ~60 days (early release is uncertain, as people here usually serve full notice)

Both companies seem similar in terms of work pressure, travel, and expenses (though I don’t fully know the new company’s environment yet)

My personal concern: I feel I’m a bit slow in learning, sometimes miss timelines, and have made mistakes in the past. I’m worried that switching might put me in a worse situation if I can’t perform

At the same time, staying also feels risky because my growth and confidence currently feel stagnant.

What would you do in this situation?

TL;DR: 1.3 YOE, the current company has inconsistent work and average performance feedback. Got another offer with ~50% hike but unsure whether to switch due to notice period, company quality concerns, and self-doubt about performance.
