hey all, i’m an electronics engineer based in melbourne australia with just under 2 years of experience. While I like what I do at my job(working with embedded systems), I’ve always wanted to go into Robotics or AI but the there isn’t a big market here in Melbourne (robotics that is). I was thinking of pivoting from electronics to Sales Engineering (Electrical sales), but i’m afraid that i’ll lose my technical edge. Does anyone have any experience in electrical sales? What do you do and can you transfer from electrical sales to tech sales?
