Buyer claiming “fake” item

I sold a pair of brand new, boxed shoes on Vinted. The buyer has reported an issue, and claimed they had a “Nike Specialist” check them and confirm they are fake. (They were delivered yesterday evening and I woke up to this dispute this morning.)

They are 100% not fake, I have proof of purchase and the picture of the tongue they uploaded in their issue has all the codes that match the website page of the shoes, as does the box. I messaged the buyer, with the pictures of the codes, website, proof of purchase etc, proving authenticity, and they viewed the first messages, and then disappeared.

I pressed “contact Vinted”, and it said they’re reviewing the issue, without me having an option to send all this proof to them too. Is there anyway I can actually contact them and send over my stuff or not?

I am absolutely against them being claimed as fake and refunded to the buyer, which from what I’ve seen on here, would mean they keep them also.

So I adopted 3 kittens from a rescue last June. They’re the best little characters that could’ve come into my life.
However, I’ve noticed something that I don’t know if I should be worried about or not??
We have a black and white cat, whose chin was fully white. A short while ago, it looked like she had dirt on her chin and we didn’t think much of it. However that little patch has grown in size since, and isn’t dirt nor fur?
They are indoor cats (aside from previously sitting out in the walled yard every now and then) and it seemed to just come out of nowhere?
If anyone has any advice or knowledge to what this could be, please let me know, even if it’s just nothing and then I can put my mind to rest.

Ants?!

Hi, so we moved into a new rental a month and a half ago. The kitchen has French doors into the garden, and the last week- couple weeks we’ve had ants around the French doors area in the kitchen.
It wasn’t an issue the rest of the time since we moved in , then we spotted a couple once, and then suddenly since we keep spotting them/ seeing them around that area.
I’d like to nip this problem in the bud before it potentially becomes a whole huge issue with loads of ants everywhere.
I’m not sure if relevant but there was also a woodlouse randomly on our living room floor earlier (which leads off our kitchen, in a small house) that our cats were staring at, and we had to save with the help and intrigue of our 4 year old.
Do we possibly have a big gap somewhere for insects to be coming in? Is the cat food in the kitchen drawing them to come in? What can I do to prevent the ants from keep coming into our house?

I am currently are having a deposit dispute with a difficult landlord (lots of issues throughout the tenancy) after moving out of the property. We moved out in March, requested the deposit back and neither us nor the estate agents heard anything from the landlord for almost a month after returning the keys.

He finally got in touch with the estate agents saying he had issues with the property, and has now had a Move Out Report done and put forward a dispute through the DPS, trying to claim over £2000. He's claiming that every room needs redecorating- painting and walls filling, that the property and appliances need a deep clean, and that items need to be removed.

We did leave a fridge on the day we moved out, with communication from the estate agents telling us we could collect this at a later date- however we have not yet due to the lack of contact from the landlord. We also cleaned the house before leaving, and I don't think there's any issues outside of the expected wear and tear of a lived in home.

Towards the end of living there, we had a big issue with water leaking from the bathroom into the kitchen, and even though we chased this up multiple times, it was never properly fixed and this of course affected the paintwork.

We have requested a Check In/ Inventory Report to be sent over- as the house wasn't in the most pristine condition upon moving in and had issues we had to sort (house stank and there was mould under the carpet)- and been informed that there isn't any. The landlord bought the house when we were already tenants and there is no report from when we first moved in or when he took over ownership.

I've tried to keep this post brief and to the point, so I may have missed out stuff, feel free to ask any questions! Any advice on this situation would be very appreciated!
