Deferring a deferral (final exam)
Fourth year engineering student here. I deferred 2 finals this winter and am currently scheduled to write them in June. Unfortunately my grandmother recently passed away overseas, and between grieving, helping my family, and working full time, I’ve really struggled to focus or prepare properly.
I’m considering requesting deferrals for the deferred exams, but I’m worried because these would technically be my 3rd and 4th final exam deferrals throughout university. Has anyone been in a similar situation or know how strict universities are with second deferrals?
Would they likely ask for documentation for a grandparent passing away abroad(third world country)? If so, what kind of documentation is usually accepted when the death occurred in another country?
Just looking for advice/experiences.
