I got an volunteering offer in my DMs on LinkedIn from a person that recently invited me to their network. That man whose profile looks legit at the first glance. He said 'hi my name is "blah blah Blah's I'm a developer. I replied with hello, nice to meet you. Then he responded with "are you interested in volunteering for a demo project working with me ", I said I need more details like scope, goals blah blah blah" so he said ' next.js typescript ticketing system tRPC" which is not much details still and then he said ' I will help you improve your development skills. ' Me being at the beginning of a career and being a woman makes me suspicious, especially when I don't know that person at all. Are people getting those kinds of offers on LinkedIn or am I overreacting?
