Trying to build a foundation for myself, what to study?
I am deciding on getting a degree in ME, but if I’m being honest I didn’t do very good in school. A good portion of that was due to circumstance and my own indolence. Now that I’m out of school I have time to learn some subjects at my own pace and want to build some foundational competency in the major subjects needed for the degree. So far I’ve been re-learning math starting from pre algebra. Now is physics and chem. I’m after the basics on those what direction should I be heading in? I know thermodynamics and tolerance will be necessary. Anything else I should build some foundation on before tossing myself into what is very well one of the hardest degrees to get?
