Ecosystem is negative feedback look. GDP is positive feedback loop.
We progress so much. So regress is our future. Then Civilization will collapse. We will be back in 1700s condition because we will not have any Metal, Soil, or Clean Water left.
The Gaussian Curve is right all along. People should remember. We have been in the Anthropocene period for the last 200 years. So many unethical and immoral things will happen. The good news is that most civilizations do not last more than 2,000 years. When will humans become extinct in the future? Nature will come to normalcy. We already fucked up. Most metal will be depleted by the 2070s-2080s. Oil and gas will end by the 2050s. Rare Earth Metals are rare. Coal, Iron, and recoverable reserves are about 1160 Billion Tons and 320 billion tons. Aluminum reserves are only 1700 Million Tons..The world's recoverable reserves of Rare Earth Metals (REMs) are estimated at 121 million tonnes of rare earth oxides (REO). Lithium reserve is 116 million tonnes. Recoverable reserves are only 30 million tonnes. (USGS). Also, Iron has a 60% recycling rate. Lithium is only 0.6%. REE is only 0.2%. Aluminum is only 42%. Iron is the oxygen of modern industrial society.
As Jason Hickel mentioned in his research paper, " Is Green Growth Possible"?
A global carbon price of 5$ per ton of carbon dioxide in 2021, rising by 18.1 % per year to 573 $ in 2050.
Degrowth is the only possible alternative.
Biofuels can be produced from a variety of biomass sources, including crops like sugarcane, corn, and soybeans; animal fats and waste; and plant materials like wood, agricultural residues, and algae.
Biofuel can easily replace all petrol, diesel, gasoline, etc.
Ethanol can easily replace all forms of coal, oil, and gas.
But there is no replacement for any metal's renewable source.
So, as it happens with every civilization, this civilization can not sustain its huge population and consumption without any renewable alternative source for metals.
Biofuels reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 84 percent, or 83.8 percent on average, and around 93 percent compared to fossil fuels.I am very pro-LGBTQ+.I am a supporter of the Wealth Tax of HNWI, UHNWI, Billionaires. I support poverty reduction with sustainable development, less resource extraction, more biofuel and ethanol usage. Biofuel and Ethanol usage can decrease 83%-94% GHG emissions. I think the military budget world be decreased by 80% in World. So we would spend 2 trillion less on defense. This money can fuel staggering development in Material Science, AI, Quantum Computing, 6G, Thermodynamic Computing, High High-Density Buildings. What am I in terms of Ideology?
Also, I am skeptical of DEI, because it only succeeds in the Netherlands, Dach Region, Scandinavia, Australia, NZ, Canada, Italy, Spain, and where income, wealth, and innovation are very high, with low levels of corruption, and homogeneous in both language, ethnic diversity, and racial diversity.
They are a very strong democracy with a low inflation rate.
It is not possible in India, Indonesia, Congo, DR Congo, Nigeria, Papua New Guinea, etc. Humanity is first. Gender, Ethnic Group, and Race are secondary. Without unity, we are incapable of eliminating poverty, inequality of wealth & income, modern slavery, etc.
Humans have no other way. The religious god did not exist. If God exists, they do not care about us. We are a point in the ocean. The universe is also in the Cosmic ocean.
Green Growth is rooted in wrong premises. Degrowth is the only way to save civilization, or we will be back in the 1700s.
NASA's mission to collect a small asteroid sample is projected to cost over $1 billion for less than 1 kilogram of material.
Major iron ore miners in Australia, such as Rio Tinto and BHP, report cash costs of roughly $18 to $24 per ton to mine iron ore from the earth.
As of early 2025, the average U.S. import price for crude dry bauxite, the ore used to make aluminum, was only $30 per ton.
Asteroid mining is not feasible with so a huge population. We have other problems like climate change, polluted water, air, and soil.
Urban mining is a much better alternative.
Humanity’s challenges now are planetary-scale degradation, not material scarcity-Climate change (CO₂ > 420 ppm), Water and soil pollution, Microplastic accumulation, and Biodiversity collapse. Urban mining addresses all these simultaneously, cuts the extraction and tailing waste, decreases CO₂ intensity per GDP unit, Conserves freshwater, and supports a circular, low-carbon economy, uses existing materials already in cities (“urban ore”), requires far less energy and water than mining new ore, reduces landfill, pollution, and GHG emissions. It also creates local jobs and reindustrialization opportunities.
DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) and MEI (Merit, Excellence, and Intelligence) are contrasting workplace philosophies. DEI focuses on actively building diverse and inclusive environments by addressing systemic barriers, while MEI emphasizes hiring and promoting based solely on individual qualifications and performance. While DEI uses programs to increase representation, MEI uses standardized evaluations to measure merit, with some viewing them as opposing ideologies and others as potentially complementary concepts.
CultureAlly
Like Socialism, Capitalism, and Communism, all failed to meet their objective. I don't know what will be future with this ideology. But they seem much more nuanced than last century ideologies. DEI and MEI concepts from the Venn diagram- DEI focuses on removing barriers for all talent to thrive. MEI emphasizes the importance of skills and contributions in the workplace. Together, they aim to create an equitable workplace where success is based on abilities and skills.
This is the reason no country has achieved social justice. People are selfish, narcissistic, and greedy. The top 8 richest people have more resources than 50% of all poor people combined.
Joseph Stiglitz thinks 2% tax on Multimillinares are only way to build a better, more equal economy, it can generate 1700 billion $ each year according to Oxfam. But as the Billionaire Class becomes more and more powerful each year, a revolution can happen. Common people will die for large banks, corporations.
The Perception Economy doesn’t just sell products — it sells illusions to sustain inequality.
And unless systemic redistribution happens, history’s next revolution will be digital, economic, and inevitable.
If unchecked inequality continues:
Debt replaces slavery.
Data replaces freedom.
Corporations replace governments.
When perception replaces reality, revolt becomes inevitable.

Humans have evolved tech rapidly. Emotions haven't caught up that fast. Institutions often lag behind tech progress. This mismatch causes problems. Tech advances are godlike in power. Paleolithic emotions drive basic human reactions. Medieval institutions shape societal norms. The gap between tech and emotions is huge. Humans struggle to adapt emotionally. Institutions need updates to match the tech pace. Tech outpaces human emotional growth. This leads to societal challenges. Balancing tech with emotions is tough. Humans face ethical dilemmas with tech. Tech's impact on society is massive. Emotions influence decisions heavily. Institutions must evolve with tech. Adapting to this mismatch is key for humanity.
