I recently noticed a light "thumping" sound coming from (or around) the engine compartment. It only occurs after it transitions from electric to gas while accelerating at low speeds at 1200-2000 RPM. It appears to go away after increasing speed (25mph +) or when in electric mode. The overall performance of the vehicle doesn't seem to be affected. My Sportage currently has 58k miles on it. I plan on bringing it up at my next service interval if it continues.

I'm curious if anyone else has experienced this?

My current ISP is Xfinity. I have 800mbps fiber with them at $45/month. My promos are ending, and after reaching out to CS, they offered me $50/month for 12 months at 1gb. I have been with Xfinity for 2 years and have had no issues.

Optimum Fiber is currently running a promo of $45/month for 5 years at 1gb speed. This seems like the better offer. Has anyone made the switch to Optimum, and are they satisfied? For reference, I live in Western CT.

As a side note, I called Optimum for some clarification about their fine print. Unfortunately, the service rep was not familiar with it and claims there will be no additional charges during the 5 year period. Here's the fine print in question:

INTERNET EQUIP, TAXES & FEES: For online orders, standard rates for professional installation may apply where free Self-Setup is available. Gateway fee auto-renews monthly at $0/mo. + taxes & fees for 12 months, after which price will go up no more than $5/mo. per year until standard rates reached. Limit 1 per household. Min system req's & equip configs apply.

Whole Home Wifi auto-renews monthly at $5/mo. + taxes & fees for 6 months, after which the price will go up to $10/mo. Standard rates subject to change. Subscription auto-renews each month until canceled. Cancel any time at 877-694-9474. Cancellation effective at end of then-current billing period except in CT & NJ. Whole Home WiFi is available for purchase to enhance wireless connectivity throughout a subscriber's residence. Coverage varies based on normal use and building conditions. Actual range and performance can vary. For other services and supplies (add'l equip., install, paper bill, device protection, misc. services, etc.) taxes may apply.

I could be misunderstanding, but it sounds like prices could increase after 12 months.
