Hi, I am looking for some advice regarding choosing Hampton or Howard.

I applied to Hampton as a bio major and was awarded a 25,000 scholarship. Unfortunately, I have not received my full financial aid package from them but I have contacted them regarding getting an extension past commitment day because of this. According to what I could find, with my scholarship my cost of attendance for Hampton should be around 20,000 without any additional grants/scholarships.

I applied to Howard as a health science major and got a 22,000 scholarship. I was also offered a loan for 5500 which brings the cost of attendance around 32,000.

I want to go to med school after undergrad, so I am trying to make a cost efficient decision. Howard would cost a decent amount more, but my mom has agreed to pay the extra money for it because I have already had to turn down my first college choice due to cost (Spelman). But, I am still unsure if it is worth spending the extra money, although we can afford it. Cost aside, I am leaning towards Howard but I want to make the best decision. Any advice is welcome, thank you!
