Hey everyone, looking for some advice while I figure out next steps.

My dog (Australian Shepherd, about 60 lbs) started vomiting, and I’m noticing these brown, string-like pieces in the vomit. They’re very thin, kind of translucent, and break apart easily when touched.

No known ingestion of string/toys etc(as far as I’m aware). He has been eating some grass now that its warmer out. Does this sound like any kind of parasite, or could it be something else (like mucus, plant material, etc.)?

I plan on contacting my vet, but wanted to see if anyone has experienced something similar or has insight on what this might be.
