Drove to the emergency vet at 2am. $1,600 later they said she was fine. This is what I wish I had first
My 11 year-old Golden was breathing weird and pacing. I panicked and drove 40 minutes to the nearest ER vet. Waited 2 hours. $1,600 for fluids and an x-ray. She was anxious. Just anxious. I've since put together a simple checklist...things a vet tech told me to look for before making the ER call. Things like gum color, capillary refill, whether they can get up, respiratory rate. If you want it, drop a comment or DM me. No charge. Just don't want another person to drive 40 min and drop $1,600 for anxiety.
