My videos look terrible when they shouldn't, what am I doing wrong?
I've literally spent the last 3 days trying to fix this and just nothing changes and I'm so down about it I feel like I've tried everything
I want my 1080 videos to not look like 480p
I've tried rendering them in 4k, I've tried h.265 with 80-100k bitrate
I've tried av1 I've tried pretty much every encoder setting, each time consisting of re rendering and re uploading
I've let the video process on youtube fully before looking at the quality
I have good hardware
I have good internet speeds
I've tried pretty much every recommended OBS setting to record with
No matter what I do the result is always the same - it looks like ass, I'm now on day 4 of relentlessly trying to find the solution and I feel like giving up
I've also done side by sides of other tiny creators making the exact same content and all of them look amazing in 1080 even the ones who didn't upload in 4k, compared to my muddy pixilated mess
I've put a lot of effort in to these videos and it's quite disheartening, appreciate any help or advice! Thank you
