Suggestions about letters of recommendation
Looking for some honest help from the community.
Have folks found it easy to gather letters of recommendation from their workplace managers etc ? Especially while working with external attorneys and while working in FAANG.
I know it’s a very normal process since we have so many eb1a applicants, that it is possible.
But I have had multiple instances of people I approached within my leadership, who seem to be hesitant to provide letters of recommendation.
Some reasons quoted are that they are not well aware of EB1A and its details (neither are they open to knowing more).
Other reason is that they are not sure of company policies and how much can be shared and what cannot be. Or it’s being difficult to convince them that they are vouching for me here, and not related to them representing the company.
Feeling pretty helpless, and would appreciate any feedback or help, on how to better approach them for it.
