Hey guys, I need some advice for a good pathway to become an electrician in Ontario, I’m currently in grade 12 doing four credit co-op in a residential electrical company and I’m looking to become an electrician but I don’t know if I should take the education route or going straight into work as the company I’m doing co-op right now did offer me a job as they are looking to hire someone for the summer. My parents want me to go to school and invest in my self by learning more about the electrical field which I think is not a bad idea but my boss also did tell me that going to school is a dumb idea but I just wanted to ask on here for other advice that you guys might have for me.
