What are y’all’s thoughts on Sweet Hallelujah? and do you think Royel Otis will ever go back to their old sound?
personally I had extremely mixed feelings about the song, but after listening to it a few times, I think it sounds like a Til The Morning part 2, including when played acoustic the song sounds just as good as Til the morning, right behind, and marry marry marry me, which are all played acoustic. Although I don’t mind Hickey, i really do like their first three EPs the best, with every song in them being literally some of the best music i’ve heard, and i hope they go back to that care free, miles away, preach you from the bar, creep up on the window seat, warm nights, young and dumb vibe. But back on Sweet hallelujah i would hone rate the song a 7.1/10 it wasn’t really the song vibe i wanted, but for what we got i think it’s an extremely well put together song with the lyrics being pretty cool to me. Different but pretty in its own way. What’s yalls thoughts?
