I'm a long time lurker here and am always amazed by the things youre able to do! I am hoping someone may be able to clean up this image to make out the name of the ship, which is written on the side of the ship.
The lady in this image was Ann, she was a distant ancestor of mine who emigrated from Ireland to America. We are descendants of the family that remained in Ireland.
My mum is really deep into ancestry research and she would like to be able to identify the ocean liner so she can find a passenger list and see the journey it took.
Is anyone able to improve this photo to help?
