I wish more side content was required content
My biggest gripe with the game has always been how disconnected side content lore is from the main story lore. There are two lore continuities which are MSQ and then literally everything else. Side content can reference MSQ activities but MSQ will not reference side content because then people feel obligated to do it. Every alliance raid and normal raid should be integrated into the msq. Ivalice I think will always be my best example. That series alone added so much depth and info about white auracite that cannot be referenced in the main story because Ivalice isn't required. On a side note it would also get rid of people having to do crystal tower almost everyday for their alliance roulette solving another issue. Im not saying to make things like Eureka or Bozja required but things like raids should be because most people are probably going to do them eventually anyways. Why make these cool in-depth lore expansions seperate from the main lore?
