Our home has forced air (no AC) There's 2 returns for 1800sq feet and no return on the second floor.
I'm thinking of adding a second return in the upstairs hallway to pull warm air back into the system. Also considering a closeable return in the basement to pump cold air up to the 2nd floor on mild summer days.
Any advice or points towards resources to use as a guide?
Red = Heat
Blue = Return
Orange = Return that was closed off
Green = Proposed return on 2nd floor
