Suggestions regarding MS
Good evening, my fellow MS warriors. I'm a bit frustrated & would appreciate some advice.
For starters, I was diagnosed 22yrs ago.
My neurologist advised that I stop working about 12yrs ago.
I do have insurance, but have been denied MANY times for meds I was already on.
I just got an approval letter to start Ocrevus infusions. Per my neurologist, the first 2 infusions are almost 6 hours (so I can be monitored in case of any reactions I may have)
My insurance is only approving 1 hour for the first 2 infusions. I'm seeing my neurologist on the 19th, hoping she can straighten this out for me & possibly contact my insurance company.
I'm extremely disappointed & frustrated that I got an approval letter but they're disregarding what my neurologist as well as my patient advocate at the hospital has told me.
I don't want to ask for money or create a GFM.
I'm just wondering if anyone else has been through all of this & if so, I'd appreciate any advice.
