Hi all

Can someone with knowledge in Polish divorce please help me with this.

My partners marriage ended a few years ago and they have yet to divorce, his ex doesn't wish to be the one to make the lodgement as she is being petty and he states that he has been informed that as he is not living in Poland, but in another EU country, he is unable to visit Poland and lodge a no fault divorce petition there, that as she now lives in Poland she is only one who can do this, unless he moved back there.

This to me makes zero sense and contradicts what I have researched and information received from friends of friends who have done the same.

Any clarity would be helpful.
